Technology

At Bronxville Middle School, the Introduction to Technology course empowers students in grades 6-8 to engage with the world of design, innovation, and problem-solving. Rooted in the principles of the design process, our curriculum challenges students to approach every project and activity as designers and decision-makers. By fostering critical thinking and creativity, we cultivate a deeper understanding of the human-designed and fabricated world. Our goal is to inspire students to explore the intersection of technology and society, preparing them for a future where they are not passive users of technology, but active creators and thoughtful contributors to the world around them.

Students attend for one quarter each year of middle school, approximately 28 classes (4 times per cycle with an average 7 week cycle per quarter).
